Chicken Tofu Patties with Miso

 I saw from a recipe cookbook that tofu can be added into meat patties for variety. Finding it interesting, i decided to make some for my family.

Surprisingly, the patties are yummy and the texture is soft and tender inside becauce of the adding of tofu.

Chicken Tofu Patties with Miso



200 g                         minced chicken

1 pkt                          soft tofu

2 tbsp                       miso paste

2 tsp                          sugar

½ tsp                        black pepper

1 tbsp                       chopped spring onion

1 tsp                          chopped red chilli



1.    Mix together all ingredients and let rest 15 minutes in fridge.

2.    Heat pan with little bit of oil, spoon meat mixture by big spoonful and drop

        onto pan to fry. Press gently to spread slightly.

3.    Pan-fry each side about 2 minutes each, or until slightly browned.

4.    Remove from heat, garnish and serve.
