Stir-Fried Shredded Pork

Cooked this last evening for dinner. I regularly cook shredded pork with other assorted ingredients on hand and they always turn out delicious. This time it’s baby corn, one of my favourites! Yum!

Stir-Fried Shredded Pork



 200 g                pork, shredded

 6 nos.               baby corn, halved

 6 stalks            spring onion, cut into 2” length

 1 no.                  red chilli, deseed and sliced thinly

 1 tsp                  sugar

 ½ tsp                salt

 1 tsp                  sesame oil

 2 tsp                  corn flour

 ½ tsp                black pepper

 2 tbsp               cooking oil

 1 tsp                  garlic, mashed

 50 ml                water



 1.       Marinate pork with sugar, salt, sesame oil and corn flour for at least 1 hr.

2.       Heat wok until hot, add garlic and sautee until fragrant.

           Add baby corn and cook 2 minutes.

3.       Add chicken and stir-fry until change colour, add half of water. Stir to blend.

4.       Add spring onion, red chilli and black pepper, stir-fry 2 minutes. Add rest of water.

5.       Remove from wok and serve.
