Mushroom Chicken in Oyster Sauce

It’s chicken and mushroom again! One of my favourite combo for stir-fry dish. The gravy is yummy, and i add it into my rice to eat. The dish is so good that i can eat my dinner with just this dish alone. No other side dish is necessary!

Mushroom Chicken in Oyster Sauce



1 pkt                      boneless chicken leg

3                             shitake mushroom, sliced

3 stalks                 spring onion, cut in 2″ length

1                              red chili, deseed and sliced

1 clove                 garlic, chopped

2 tbsp                   cooking oil

100 ml                 chicken stock


3 tbsp                    oyster sauce

1 tbsp                    sesame oil

1 tsp                       black pepper

2 tbsp                    sugar



1.    Clean and cut chicken in small pieces. Marinate with seasoning for 1 hr.

2.    Heat cooking oil in wok, add in garlic and fry till fragrant.

3.    Add in mushroom and stir- fry 2 minutes. Add chicken and fry until turn colour.

4.    Add chicken stock,corriander and red chili and stir-fry 1 minute.

5.    Remove from wok and serve.
